Maxi-Cosi began in 1984 when Dutch retailer Sjef van der Linden brought the American capsule concept to Europe and made it safer.

 

The original Maxi-Cosi capsule was a game changer. For the first time, babies could travel rear-facing in secure, crash-tested seats instead of makeshift carrycots.

 

Maxi-Cosi went on to develop the first stroller-compatible capsule frame, the Maxi-Taxi, and introduced the world’s first 3-in-1 travel system, a concept still loved by families today.
