A baby playpen is great when you are worried about those out of bounds rooms. You can even use a play pen to close off certain area’s of the house.

Wooden playpens can be awkward to move but are much safer than mesh ones. Wooden playpens provide babies and parents with a better view, back support and bars that can help them pull up into a standing position. Some Wooden Playpens are more versatile and can be configured to be a square, rectangle or hexagonal shape as well as have playpen mats to provide a softer and more comfortable surface if they fall down or have a sleep.

Metal Playpens have an advantage that they are heavier which means they are more difficult to move. This can be both an advantage or a disadvantage. It all depends on what your needs are. They can often be more versatile as well.
