Layer 1 comprises of high quality 100% quilted bamboo fabric covers which offer breathability and are quilted for comfort.
This outer cover can be removed for washing with the easy to use zip and therefore provide a clean and hygienic sleeping surface so toilet training is now made easier.

The Bonded Fibre padded surface of the Babyhood Bamboo Innerspring Breathe Eze Cot Mattress is also allergy and dust mite resistant. The Bonded Fibre is manufactured using layers of fibre to create a firm surface that is breathable.
Layer 3 comprises of the spring and frame construction. All babyhood mattresses use the specially designed Bonnell Springs and Tempered Frame Support System. This allows for greater support for your baby. All due to it’s safety features such as the tempered outer frame and protective corner guards. Padding and Wadding
All babyhood padding and wadding is made using heat bonded polyester fibre. Polyester fibre is a great form of padding and provides a firm and elastic sleeping surface for your baby.
There is no foam in our mattresses. We do not use foam in our mattresses because it is toxic for baby as it omits fumes which may impact on an infant’s respiratory system.
We also do not use foam as it is highly combustible and requires the addition of formaldehyde and fire retardants. There are no fire retardants of formaldehyde in our mattresses.
Why heat bonding? We use heat bonded fibre as this process utilises less chemicals and reduces your baby’s exposure to harsh chemicals used in other chemical and petroleum methods of bonding.
Fabrics
All babyhood fabrics are cotton which are not treated with any formaldehyde or any fire retardant chemicals. The fabrics used on the innerspring range are all OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Approved giving you peace of mind.

After doing a lot of research on cot mattresses, there weren’t many that fully disclosed the contents, and whether chemicals were used, so it was great to find this mattress, and be able to check out what it was made up of. The shipping was very fast – it was on its way the day I ordered, and arrived quickly and in great condition. It is firm but springy, and will suit our hub well I hope.
