I have owned several of these and the reason I have owned more than one is because they don’t last more than two years. After one year the outside part turns from black to grey and become brittle and easily breaks. I do like the styling and the block out is excellent. The packaging does mention about removing when not in use, but being a sunshade, they are always in use and removing and reinstalling could cause damage to the blinds due to the corners of the doors.

This is so much bette than those pesky suction cap types! It covers the whole window with no gaps and fits over the car door (large 4WD) like a glove. Highly recommend this product!

Exactly as promised. The square model fit our VW station wagon very easily, and helps keep bub’s seat out of the sun (great for when you are parked too – we had always used a cloth hung in the window, but forgot to put this up when baby wasn’t actually in the car, and the seat gets HOT! No more).
