When using WiFi for Remote viewing, you can record via the free Leapfrog Baby Care app. That’s both

Make no mistake, the display is crystal clear due to the 1080p display. In addition, it has an incredible colour night mode. Unlike other baby monitors which are black and white at night, this one displays in full colour at night!
In addition, you can use the 8 x zoom on the 5″ display or Via remote access you can use up to 10x digital zoom.
The LeapFrog LF815HD night light is an adaptive dimmable night light that adjusts with the light in the room. It is also able to be dimmed and adjusted from either the parent unit or by simply taping the camera with your finger.
Monitoring Baby
You can also monitor the room temperature and humidity in the nursery room on the parent unit. And it’s accurate with a resolution of 0.1 °F.
On top of that, you can set alarms if it goes out of the range that you set. It even has a 3-level colour indicator on the parent unit so you can easily see if there is an issue.
There are more alarms that you can set which include noise and motion alarms. Now you will be alerted when baby wakes. On top of that, it has on-board recording of video to camera for motion detection!
Your LeapFrog LF815HD Video Baby Monitor will even help baby sleep, there is 10 soothing sounds including lullabies. You can also use the 2 way communication to calm baby remotely!

The LeaprFrog LF815HD has a long range of up to 1000 Feet which is approximately 300m line of sight. Past that, use remote access mode via your smart phone. Then you can monitor from anywhere with your smartphone App on your phone or tablet!

Router Mode or Direct WiFi Mode
With Direct WiFi Mode, the monitor is ready to use out of the box for local monitoring between parent
unit and camera.
With Router Mode, the parent unit and camera are paired to operate via the WiFi router, this also allows
remote access to the camera via the VTech app.
Once Router Mode set-up is completed, you can choose to operate in Direct Mode, Router Mode or
the parent unit can be set to auto switch between Direct WiFi and Router Modes for better connectivity. The camera can then continue to be viewed/controlled via the app even if the unit switches to Direct WiFi Mode.
