Easy To Use
Open the bag, lift out the Travel Cot and set it up in one simple movement. There are no loose parts to attach. The legs unfold automatically and once you have put the mattress in you have a stable travel cot to use at home or on trips. When you’re not using it, simply fold it up and store it in the practical bag.
The sides of the travel cot are made from soft and airy mesh fabric. As this allows the baby to breathe through the fabric, you need not worry if the baby’s face is close to the sides of the crib. The see-through mesh lets you keep an eye on your baby and allows your baby to look out.
Travelling with children typically involves a lot of luggage, so it’s good to know the travel cot only weighs 6 kg. It’s easy to move around once set up, the bag’s smart design means that the travel cot is easy to store, carry and stow in any baggage space – ideal for all kinds of trips.

Set Up and Tested by Frank & Judy
We set up the BabyBjorn Travel Cot Light ourselves before it went on sale. Frank checks locking mechanisms, stability and how compactly it folds for travel; Judy tests mattress fit and breathability for short-term sleep away from home. Two decades of doing this the same way, every time.

Age: From newborn to approximately three years, until your child can climb out of the travel cot. There is no upper weight limit.

All materials are kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste. They are free from harmful substances and approved according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This is really important to us!

Safety
Travel Cot Light complies with the EN 716 safety standard for folding cots and national fire safety requirements.
Cot fabric: The fabric is easy to remove and is machine washable at 40 degrees C. Do not tumble dry. The mattress cover can be washed at 60 degrees C.
Wash separately with a gentle, bleach-free detergent. It should be set up when you put the fabric back on.

So glad I purchased this portacot, I did A LOT of research and this was by far the best. It is easy to assemble and pack up and put away. The mattress is comfy but just right in line with the standards, my baby girl sleeps perfect in it each time. A cot fitted sheet fits the mattress you just got to tuck it under which you can with no hassle and even a blanket tucks under. The price through Bubs and Grubs is a bonus too. So happy with my purchase and I would recommend this portacot to any mum and dad.

We were in the market for a portacot for our first born, we were travelling interstate to spend a few days with family on their property we needed something compact, high quality and easy to set-up.
Compact – we had a full car 2 adults, 5 month old, dog, esky and full luggage, we managed to fit all this in the car due to the compact size the portacot hardly took up any room at all.
Quality – As a first time parent one of the biggest things that gets drilled into you is SIDS this has full mesh sides and firm yet soft base which made us rest easy knowing that bin was safe doing the same.
Easy to set-up – as soon as I took this out of the bag I knew it was going to be one of the most simple set-ups I had ever seen, my first attempt took around 30 seconds and done 30 seconds, by the time my little guy is 1 year old he will almost be able to set it up himself it is that simple

I shopped around online to find the best price on a reputable website for this portacot (once we had settled on purchasing the baby bjorn). Bubs n Grubs had the most competitive price, quickest delivery and the added security of a store with a phone number to contact. The portacot arrived a day earlier than expected (which was within a working week). All communication has been fantastic – and the product itself is perfect. Definitely the best choice.

We had heavily researched porta cots, hoping to find something in market that was affordable, safe and aesthetically pleasing. We looked at a few alternatives to the baby Bjorn, based on price, however when stacking up the convenience of set up/weight and the quality/safety standards.. nothing else compared!
