Your parent unit is a great compact and portable unit with 5″ display. It uses 2.4GHz FHSS technology. As a result, the sound will be nice and clear with zero interference. In addition, it is secure.
The battery life is great. You can get up to 17 hours of use from a single charge.
There is both a temperature display as well as a 3 level sound indicator as well. On top of that you can even have it on sound activation mode, so you know when baby cries.
The camera for the VTech BM5550AU has a great little night light built in and it has a motorised pan & degree tilt. In addition, it has automatic infra red night vision for when the room is dark at night and it is wall mountable.
