The Mother’s Choice kin AP convertible booster seat is a forward-facing harnessed seat in toddler mode. Designed for your child from 6 months to approximately 4 years of age. Or until your child’s shoulders reach the middle shoulder height marker.
Ideal for children who have outgrown rearward-facing seats but are not yet ready to transition straight to a booster.
Once your child outgrows the middle shoulder height markers, this seat converts to a booster seat. This is to be used with a lap-sash seat belt from approximately 4 years of age to approximately 8 years of age. Or until your child’s shoulders reach the upper shoulder height marker.

Easy to clean, easy to adjust to size, simple design and my son loves the cupholders. Took a bit of doing to install but I think now we know the tricks it will be easy to take in and out when needed.

The car seat looks good and went into the car okay. Was a little difficult to work out the best way to install, but once it went in no issue. Quite comfortable also. Easy to adjust. Good reviews on the internet. Good choice to buy.

I came across this seat through the safety scores. Through which I found the manufacturer makes the same product with different model names but it is the same product that passes the safety test. The other model names from alternative baby stores were about $200 more. The product was reasonable to install. I also purchased the Houdini Strap, which I ended up needing as the toddler managed to get out of the straps. I don’t think many 6month olds would be tall enough for this seat. We bought this as we are expecting another child, so needed the birth – 4 year old seat vacated. The toddler is nearly 2 and I think he only recently became tall enough and ready enough for an upright seat like this. For longer car trips, it is easy enough to lean the seat back then adjust this car seat to match the angle so they can sleep without their head hanging forward.

This seat fits well in our car. It’s fiddly to work out at first, but once you’re used to it it’s great. Seems comfortable too, ie. We don’t get any protests when placing our toddler in it.

Have this car seat for my daughter in Hubby’s car. As my son is growing we thought we’d get him one as he continuously tries to sit in his sisters seat. Great car seat, especially with the cup holders on the sides. Will be ordering another 2 of these for my car.
Great service and speedy delivery by Bubs and Grubs too. Being in Darwin, we don’t have many options available to us that don’t cost an arm and a leg in delivery fees.

I do not live locally to a Bubs n Grubs store or any other baby store to personally assess the quality of products prior to purchase. I called the Bubs n Grubs store and received great information and good service over the phone above what was available online.
The Mothers Choice Kin car seat came to my attention as a high safety rated car seat by reviewing the https://www.childcarseats.com.au website. The phone call to the store clarified any questions that I had and dispatch of my order was next day.
I have a Britax seat already installed and I am super happy with the Mothers Choice Kin in comparison. The quality of the seat is high and my daughter (2 yrs old) is very happy with the new seat. Compared to the Britax Graphene, this seat is shallower and my daughter can see out the window easily. Comfort-wise there have not been any complaints and it appears to be an equally comfortable seat.
I am very happy with this purchase and the extra research hours put into finding a safer car seat through the Child Car Seats website found us a much cheaper choice than we took with our original car seat purchase due to the lack of information available at the time when shopping elsewhere.
