Anxious new Mummy concerned about cats near baby. I purchased cot canopy for my granddaughter and grandson in law.
She is 5ft 6ins a.nd he is 6ft 6ins. My concern is zipper height as stated by other customers.

This is the ideal solution for our grand daughters cot at our coast house. At various times we get a lot of the blighters and seeing the little one with bright red dots called for a proper solution. The babyhood cot canopy cover fixed the problem as it extends over the top and down the sides of the cot. The little one sleeps soundly (and so do we!)

I purchased a white standard canopy to stop my 2 cats from jumping into the cot. It was easy to assemble, looks great on the cot and does exactly what I need it for.
Only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because of the low zipper. Me being 5’4 and my partner 6’2 it’s to low even for myself.
I would recommend for anyone wanting to keep cats/mozzies out of the cot and away from baby.

This wasn’t hard to put together and the standard size looked really beautiful on my IKEA SOLGUL Cot. I am docking a star because the zipper section is way too low and makes it incredibly cumbersome to put baby in the cot, and remove baby from the cot. My husband isn’t that tall and he really has to stoop very low to duck his head under the opening. This is not something you want to deal with in the middle of the night when feeding a newborn. We’ve even had comments from baby’s grandparents about the poor design of the zipper location. If the zipper was closer to the poles on the frame (and also in more than one location, let’s say on the smaller sides) it would be perfect.
It has ended up being such an issue that we’ve removed this item from the cot and are just going to deal with the mossies another way. Otherwise, I really liked it.

After my daughter being attacked mosquitos I finally ordered one of these nets. LOVE. we also camping a lot and it folds up so compact that it can come with us and be used on her portacot. This product was easy to assemble and will work perfectly to deter our cat from getting into the cot. The range of sizes is fantastic, we have a handmade cot and the large size was a perfect match for our cot.
