Extremely soft. Originally I wanted the cream but the lovely lady through customer service rang to say they were out, she spent so much time with me on the phone explaining each colour or what my options are. I went with the navy as she suggested and I love it more then the cream! So soft. Perfect fit for babies head. And I love that it has two different sizes.
