Maxi Cosi

Maxi-Cosi – Trusted Safety for Growing Families

Maxi-Cosi is a global leader in baby car seats and travel systems, trusted by millions of parents for innovation and peace of mind.

As the original inventor of the baby capsule in 1984, Maxi-Cosi transformed child safety forever with its pioneering rear-facing design.

Every Maxi-Cosi seat we sell is checked over by Frank, our founder and ACRI-accredited fitter, and comes with the backing of our status as an Australian Authorised Maxi-Cosi Retailer – covering car seats and prams and strollers that meet the highest safety standards and exceed Australian regulations.

About Maxi-Cosi

Maxi-Cosi began in 1984 when Dutch retailer Sjef van der Linden brought the American capsule concept to Europe and made it safer.

The original Maxi-Cosi capsule was a game changer. For the first time, babies could travel rear-facing in secure, crash-tested seats instead of makeshift carrycots.

Maxi-Cosi went on to develop the first stroller-compatible capsule frame, the Maxi-Taxi, and introduced the world’s first 3-in-1 travel system, a concept still loved by families today.

Today, Maxi-Cosi sells over 1.4 million seats annually across more than 70 countries, making it one of the most recognised baby brands in the world. Since 2010, Dorel Australia has proudly brought Maxi-Cosi innovations to Australian families with a focus on safety, style and real-life parenting solutions.

From ISOFIX car seats and capsules to complete travel systems and prams, Maxi-Cosi products are designed to keep your baby safe and comfortable from day one.

Bubsngrubs are a great place to buy for babies and kids. They had a large choice of colours for this car seat and it was handy to be able to choose one a different colour to the ones our daughters…
