The Story Behind Hippychick

Founded in 1999 at a kitchen table in Somerset, Hippychick began when mum-of-three Julia Minchin invented the original Hipseat. Tired of backaches from carrying her children, Julia created a solution that worked-and it quickly became a hit with other parents too.

 

Today, Hippychick has expanded its range to include practical, innovative products made to simplify daily life with babies and toddlers. But it all started with one mum’s mission to carry her baby without the strain.
