Pinky and Sarah McKay are the mother- daughter owners and creators of Boobie Bikkies, helped along by a fantastic design and development team including chefs, a consultant dietician, a food technologist and our brilliant designer.

Pinky McKay, International Board certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), runs a private practice in Melbourne. She’s a best-selling author with four titles published by Penguin; Sleeping Like a baby, 100 Ways to Calm the Crying, Toddler Tactics and Parenting By Heart, endorsed by The Australian Breastfeeding Association, La Leche League International and The Australian Association of Infant Mental Health.

Keynote ambassador for the program launch of the Australian Government’s National Paid Parental Leave Scheme (2011). Ambassador for the Baby and Toddler Show (2012) and ambassador for The Australian Changing Face of Motherhood Study (March 2012, sponsored by Proctor and Gamble) Pinky is an in demand keynote speaker throughout Australia and New Zealand. She’s an expert source for national publications and a frequent guest on major TV shows including the Today Show, The Morning Show, Today Tonight, A Current Affair and Mornings(channel nine).

Pinky’s gentle parenting techniques offer effective, proven alternatives to “baby training approaches” which may have long term negative effects on infants’ emotional and mental health and undermine parents’ confidence and connection with their little ones. Her real-world experience stems from being the mother of five and grandmother of three.
